ORA (White)

(Cinsault x Perle de Scaba) x Cardinal crossing (INRA, French National Institute for Agricultural Research)

Cinsault: 2nd stage. Large grapes.

Perle de Scaba: 1st stage. Medium-sized grapes.

Cardinal: 1st stage. Large grapes.

Budding: Early (around the same time as Chasselas).

Ripeness: Very early (about 2 weeks before Chasselas).

Vigor: Average. Light pruning required.

Production: Average to high.

Medium to large grapes. Supple bunches of grapes.

Medium-sized to large ellipsoidal grapes, taking on a nice golden color under the effect of the sun.

Conclusion: The interest of this new variety lies in its precocity, appearance, good gustative quality, large grapes, thin skin and hardly unpleasant seeds.
